Job Summary:
As a Corrugated Maintenance Worker, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of corrugated production equipment and machinery. You will be part of a dynamic team that strives for excellence in productivity, efficiency, and quality. Your role will involve conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance measures. This position requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections of corrugated production equipment to identify potential issues or areas that require maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, parts usage, and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment optimization to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in corrugated machinery maintenance.
  • Assist in training new maintenance staff and guide operators on basic equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade school training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker in a sheet plant or corrugated box plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corrugated production equipment, such as corrugators, slitters, die cutters, and gluing machines.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Skilled in performing repairs, adjustments, and replacements of machine parts.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and ability to create and follow maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety procedures.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
 
Compensation: $24.00 per hour
